3 rectangles logo: a space for action

Czech Extraliga (ELH), the prestigious ice hockey league, asked us to develop a video spot and their corporate graphic design. We decided to divide their logo into three rectangles that deliberately group and move on the screen. These shifting elements create unique spaces to showcase ice-hockey footage and content, including game teasers and videos from fans.

The inter-changing elements capture contrasting angles, closeups, and different action sequences from the rink. We utilized the same graphic principle of dividing the screen content to showcase other image components of the match, such as statistics and game graphics. We employed the best live-action footage as opposed to relying on 3D animation tricks. As a result, ELH’s visual identity captured the dramatic aspect and the fast pace of this fan-favorite sport.
