Finding a COOL tool for visual identity.

We created the popular animations and graphics for the COOL television channel in the Czech Republic. Viewers switched to COOL only to see the unparalleled promos and idents. COOL graphics are etched in the consciousness of viewers across demographics!

Our process started with a literal idea to use text and punctuation marks to structure the logo design. We substituted the double O in the channel’s name with four parentheses providing space for symbols, pictures, and playful wording. The logo is a permanent fixture on the screen and encapsulates everything COOL represents.

Enabling the parentheses to serve as a symbolic touch of irony was an instinctive attribute of the channel’s brand and programming. The COOL logo is not only a word, but it’s also a graphical element that transforms into channel ID animations.

We won the prestigious Silver PromaxBDA award for the best channel visual identity.
